When Qi Xiaohan recovered from it, she held the popsicle in her mouth and jumped onto a cabinet directly under the air conditioning vent. With the cold air blowing on her, the kitty’s ears pricked up and listened attentively to the three people talking underneath her.

Qi Xiaohan was a lion cat whose fur was pure white all over, except for the small dot of apricot-yellow that was shaped like flames on her forehead, which looked quite bizarre. Qi Xiaohan’s first memory was of being a stray cat. Qi Ning immediately felt a chill pass through her heart and glanced down at the creature currently eating a popsicle, the simple-minded, illiterate kitty. It was so worried that it could not eat.
